Oklahoma Republican Senator Markwayne Mullin joins Fox Across Ameria With Jimmy Failla to shed light on the need for both chambers of Congress to swiftly pass President Trump’s “big, beautiful bill” in order to codify his agenda.
“He’s running a very tough schedule. He was very confident about that. You know, the president’s doing a lot of leaning in on this and also he put a lot people on notice, if he if you didn’t hear what he said about Thomas Massie. I mean, he was very clear. Thomas Massie he said, isn’t wanting to get to yes. But the option is if you don’t pass a bill is that you’re okay with status quo because we’ve been negotiating this bill for months. It’s as good as it’s going to be able to get in the House because everybody’s had input on it. So if you choose to vote no on the bill, then you’re saying I’d rather stay with Biden’s policies. The president was very clear and he weighed in on it, he says, we’ve done everything we could. It’s not perfect, but it’s good. And the speaker today said that they’re going to go into Rules at one o’clock in the morning, in other words, tonight at one o’clock, and hopefully have a floor vote by tomorrow night.”
