Kentucky Republican Congressman and House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer joins Fox Across America With Jimmy Failla to shed light on some of the roadblocks President Trump is dealing with as he attempts to implement the campaign promises he made to voters last year.
“Remember, Joe Biden’s last three months in office were spent trying to Trump-proof the government. They signed deals with federal employees’ unions to prevent Trump from doing what he’s trying to do now and reduce the size of the federal government by a reduction in the federal workforce. They have got executive orders they signed on the way out the door that the judges are using as a basis to halt Trump’s current executive orders. I mean, the list goes on and on and on, and you’ve got, look, in the federal government, the overwhelming majority of federal employees are Democrats. And I’ll go further. They’re left-wing activists and they’re actively opposing and obstructing all the Trump agenda. And, you know, it’s just a battle. And that’s what my committee, we’re trying to, to wage a war with president Trump to do the will of the American people. And that’s to pass the Trump agenda and to see that his executive orders are fulfilled.”
