Ohio Republican Congressman and House Judiciary Commitee Chairman Jim Jordan joins Fox Across America With Jimmy Failla to shed light on how the sanctuary city policies that liberal leaders claim were put in place to protect migrants are actually having the opposite effect.
“We had the mayor of Denver four or five weeks ago in a hearing, and if you remember out there, the sanctuary city, ICE said, give us 48 hours notice, if you would please. They sent a detainer form there to him, spelling this out, give us 48-hours notice. They called him up like 40 minutes before they let the bad guy go. In for aggravated assault, in for auto theft, was charged with all this, I’m going to go out on bond. So they gave him 40 minutes notice, and as a result, they released the guy in streets. ICE has to bring several agents you’re jeopardizing the safety of everybody, and the other thing is, you’re jeopardizing to safety of the migrant. And in this situation in Denver the migrant guy they had to tase the migrant when they were arresting him when they could have just handed him over. You need two officers inside the jail but outside the jail you needed six you jeopardize everyone’s safety law enforcement the public and the migrant. That’s how stupid the left-wing policies are and it has real-world implications and is when you do this stupid left-wing thing.”
