The days of college commencement addresses riddled with woke activism and “Liberal only” speakers could be a thing of the past, well, at least this year at the University of Alabama and West Point, that is.
Yes, President Trump announced on Truth Social he will be delivering commencement addresses at both Alabama and West Point next month.
In the case of Alabama, the president won’t be part of the official graduation ceremony but rather a ticketed event open to spring graduates.
Of course, some college activists are already whining about it. They can’t stand the idea of a sitting president and leader of the free world being allowed to speak on their campus.
While I’m not sure about the ideological split at the University of Alabama itself, Alabama the state is bright red. I’d assume many students at the university will be pumped and honored to hear the president speak.
And those who aren’t, well they can stay home.
For too long leftist advocates have had a stranglehold on college campuses but those days are over!
