Stephen A 2028?
Stephen A Smith is seriously considering a run for president.
I’m Tomi Lahren, more next.
ESPN host Stephen A Smith has officially opened the door to at least the idea of running for president.
In a social post he said “hate the thought of being a politician. But sick of this mess. So I’m officially leaving all doors open.”
This is a change of tune because just a month ago he said he “didn’t give a damn about the office” and that he preferred challenging politicians rather than being one.
Smith has been openly critical of both political parties so it’s unclear what he’d run as, but there is polling that suggests he’d have a shot as a Democrat contender.
Republican pollster McLaughlin and Associates clocked Smith at around 2% in a Democrat primary head-to-head with other big names such as Kamala, Newsom, Buttigieg.
Important to note that pre-2016 victory, President Trump also polled around that level early on.
Good for Stephen A if he really wants to throw his hat in the ring but I’m not so sure this sudden interest is genuine.
I think Stephen A likes headlines about Stephen A but only time will tell!
