Ohio Republican Congressman and House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan joins Fox Across America With Jimmy Failla to give his take on the pushback President Trump has been receiving since announcing sweeping new tariffs on Wednesday which impact essentially every U.S. trading partner.
“If tariffs are so bad, why won’t the rest of the world get rid of the ones they put on us? Like, come on. It’s like you’ve got to be kidding me. So look, I think you’re exactly right. I said this yesterday. My dad was union worker in Dayton, Ohio, General Motors worked 30 years. They used have several plants in date and they’re now down to one. And yesterday, I thought the president’s remarks were great, but I also thought the union worker from Detroit who came up there and talked about that phenomena was right on target and people understand it. And they know President Trump is all about fighting for what he believes is best for the country, best for families, best for best for our economy So, you know and we’re tired of like that they get to do it to us but we can’t do it to them? I think common sense says, come on.”
