Hegseth Makes New Rule for Women in Combat

Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth is setting the record straight on women in combat roles.

I’m Tomi Lahren, find out his common sense approach, next.

During his contentious confirmation hearing, now Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth was grilled repeatedly on his stance on women in combat.

This week, Secretary Hegseth set the record- and the standards- straight.

In a post to X, Hegseth noted that different physical fitness standards for men and women in the military have existed for a long time, BUT certain combat roles were assigned to men ONLY.

That changed under President Obama when roles were opened to both sexes. Well that’s all fine and dandy, but not if you’re gonna maintain DIFFERENT fitness standards for men and women!

His solution? Well, it’s quite simple.

All combat roles are open to men and women BUT they must all meet the same, high standards.

No standards will be lowered AND all combat roles will only have sex-neutral standards.

This makes perfect sense. The military is NOT a social experiment and it doesn’t care about YOUR feelings!
