President Trump Wants an Apology…
Maine may have backed down from its ridiculous stance on men in women’s sports, but President Trump wants more.
I’m Tomi Lahren, more next.
The state of Maine finally did the right thing and agreed to comply with President Trump’s executive order protecting women’s sports from biological males.
After the University of Maine System, a network of eight public universities in Maine, experienced a temporary pause in funding from the USDA, they decided to eat some humble pie and back down.
The state is now in full compliance with the order and funding has been reinstated.
And while that is great news for the female athletes in the state, President Trump wants something a little more personal from the state’s governor Janet Mills.
In a Truth Social post, Trump asked for “a full throated apology from the Governor herself, and a statement that she will never make such an unlawful challenge to the Federal Government again.”
If you recall, the two had quite the back-and-forth last month at a bipartisan gathering of governors. In that spat, Governor Mills challenged President Trump on his order remarking she would “see him in court.”
Well spoiler alert, that didn’t pan out for her and now the only appropriate response from the Governor herself, is a public and personal apology!
Let’s hear it, Janet!
