Return the Statue of Liberty?

A leftist French politician wants the Statue of Liberty back and press secretary Karoline Leavitt delivered a spicy retort!

I’m Tomi Lahren, more next.

Monday’s White House press briefing got a little spicy when Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt was asked about a French politician who demands the Statue of Liberty be returned over Trump’s immigration policies.

Leavitt’s response was direct and to the point. Not only did she remark the state would not be returned, she made her point even further by saying, her “advice to that unnamed low-level French politician would be to remind them that it’s only because of the United States of America that the French are not speaking German right now.”

Audible gasps could be heard in the room, but shocking or not, she’s correct.

I’d add this subtle reminder to the folks who think they are constitutional scholars: The Statue of Liberty was a gift and an art piece. It is NOT a founding document. The writing on it has no authority or jurisdiction.

Under President Trump, the USA will not be a doormat! Put that on a statue!
