Egg Prices are Dropping
Good news, egg prices are falling!
I guess that’s what happens when you stop mass killing the chickens!
I’m Tomi Lahren, more next.
American consumers are still frustrated with the cost of most grocery items, and I get it.
Inflation didn’t happen overnight and it won’t be entirely fixed that fast, either.
But when it comes to the price of eggs, there is relief on the horizon.
New data released by the Department of Agriculture shows the average egg price has dropped significantly in recent days.
According to the economic indicator website “Trading Economics,” a dozen eggs were $5.51 on Tuesday which is more than $2 cheaper than “an all-time high of 8.17 in March of 2025.”
That’s a dip of nearly 33% and welcome news to consumers.
Egg prices are still high, don’t get me wrong, but that’s largely due to the ongoing bird flu outbreak.
President Trump can’t wave a wand and end that, but he can work to lower fuel and transportation costs as well as cut some regulations to make it easier for goods to get to shelves.
Trust the process!
