Could the State Department use AI to send foreign pro-Hamas students packing?

I’m still a little weary of AI but in this case, I’ll make an exception!

Secretary of State Marco Rubio will reportedly be launching an AI powered “Catch and Revoke’ initiative to find and cancel the visas of foreign students who appear pro-Hamas. 

The process will include an AI-assisted review of tens of thousands of foreign student visa holders’ social media accounts, particularly for keywords or indicators they support Hamas or celebrate the October 7th massacre. 

The initiative will also review if any of these foreign students were arrested but allowed to stay anyway under Joe Biden.

I’m a free speech gal, but if you’re a guest in this country and you abuse that privilege to spew anti-semitic hate or conjure up violence on college campuses, you oughta GO!

You can be hateful and disruptive in your own country, we have plenty of problems without your bad behavior adding to it!
