Texas Republican Congressman Brandon Gill joins Fox Across America With Jimmy Failla to share some of his major takeaways from Wednesday’s House Oversight Committee hearing which featured testimony from New York City Mayor Eric Adams, Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson, Boston Mayor Michelle Wu and Denver Mayor Mike Johnston.

“My line of questioning, for instance, just to give an example, was to actually make them say yes or no. Do you believe that illegal aliens should have driver’s licenses? Do you believe that illegal aliens should have the right to vote? Do you believe illegal aliens should be given free health care? Do you believe illegal aliens should be given free abortions? And the answer to all of these questions was yes. And that’s a huge problem for the American people, and especially for the American taxpayer who’s footing the bill for all of this, especially whenever our country is bankrupt right now. Yeah, that’s a problem. And you’ve got these cities that are intentionally and as a matter of policy, harboring illegal alien criminals and hiding them basically from federal law enforcement. That’s a problem as well. And I’m excited to see that. My colleague Anna Paulina Luna referred them for criminal investigation because they certainly deserve it. But the American people are sick of having people in power, in government at any level, whether it’s in Washington or at the municipal level, who are operating for the benefit of illegal aliens and not for their own constituents.”

Jimmy and Rep. Gill also talk about how the House voted to censure Texas Democratic Rep. Al Green for repeatedly interrupting President Trump’s address to a joint session of Congress. Listen to the podcast to hear what else they discussed!
