“The problem this creates when the government wastes your taxpayer dollars that crowds out the money going to something it needs to go to. It hurts the economy. It increases inflation. It increases interest rates. There are all these results that we’re paying the price for right now, because the government spent a lot of money it shouldn’t have. Let me give you one example of how this works out. So you can really get your arms around it. So average median family of four, they’re paying $20,000 a year more for just the same things they bought before the pandemic. It cost him that much more to live day to day. And let me tell you, they’re probably not even buying the same things they were buying before the pandemic because they can’t afford it, right? So if they were to buy the exact things over again, and this is everything from groceries to back to school, it would cost them an extra $20,000. And why is this? It’s because governments, they’re wasting your money. It’s fraud. We are like 30% less rich than we were a generation than you would have expected a generation ago, because they’re throwing this money out.”
