Florida Republican Congresswoman Kat Cammack joins FOX Across America With Jimmy Failla to discuss why Democrats are on the losing side of a battle when it comes to their opposition to Elon Musk and the DOGE department’s efforts to scale back government waste and corruption.
“I don’t know on what planet people think that it’s like Republican dollars versus Democrat dollars. It’s really this bizarre situation. And again, I go back to this is where I think they’re having an identity crisis. The EDS or the Elon Derangement Syndrome is so incredibly strong here on Capitol Hill and really across the country with these pockets of ultra-liberal, progressive woke people that they can’t take a step back for one moment and say, hey, you know, maybe we shouldn’t be sending, you know, millions of dollars to Gaza for condoms or maybe we shouldn’t be, you know, sponsoring the DEI musical in Ireland or Scotland, you know, like, just basic things. It’s they’re so committed. And God bless them. They’re so committed to their hatred for all things. Trump for all things, Elon, that they just cannot see the forest through the trees. And that’s ultimately going to be their downfall. They paid for it dearly in the election. They keep tripling down on this. And they’re going to find out come the midterms if they’re still on this train of taking the 20% of an 80/20 issue. They’re going to continue to lose. And it’s just like today, the Democrats an email went out. Hakeem Jeffries is telling his members to do a meeting on the House, steps at the Capitol to protest Elon Musk, I mean, what the hell? We, all of we all are paying taxes. You want the government out of our everyday lives. We want them spending money responsibly. Not more, but way less. This is just absurd. So it’s going to be, I think, a reckoning that’s going to take a long time for them to come back to the same side of things.”
