RNC National Spokesperson Elizabeth Pipko joins Fox Across America With guest host Joe Concha to share her thoughts on a recent poll from Quinnipiac University which finds just 31 percent of voters have a favorable view of the Democratic Party.
“The Democrat Party has lost those that were once the reason they were popular to begin with. Those that folks connected with, those that folks actually believed in. Right? That’s who they have lost in this fight. They also lost Donald Trump, obviously, who many, many, many years ago was hopefully a pretty prominent New York City Democrat. So I think it’s comical that they’re wondering where they’ve gone wrong, where they can see right in front of their eyes. As we’re speaking, two of their biggest stars going through confirmation hearings, ready to serve in a Republican administration. So the fact is, they’ve lost the connection with the people and they’ve actually lost their own stars in the process. They’ve lost those that had the American people actually excited to vote Democrat. They have thrown away anyone the American people might have connected to because they disagreed with them on tiny points here and there and actually driven those folks and the supporters that supported them with them outside to the right and outside of the Democrat Party. It’s actually very sad to witness. They tried to collect this kind of gobble and keep people in a bubble, unable to disagree on any small issues. They’ve tormented those that would say that they were independent thinkers and in the process lost any independent thinkers that the Democrat Party ever had.”
