Kevin O’Leary spoke to Brian Kilmeade about the danger of DeepSeek. O’Leary says DeepSeek is subsidized by the CCP and with the potential of TikTok shutting down, DeepSeek is a lifeboat for China. O’Leary says we are in a war on AI with China and we better win because it matters for defense and national security.
On working with Frank McCourt to buy TikTok, O’Leary says they have to appeal to the shareholders of TikTok, some of whom are American, and that it would be in their best interest to sell in order to keep it operating. O’Leary says a potential TikTok 2.0 would have to make sure they follow the law passed by congress on how TikTok operates and believes this is a really interesting opportunity for cooperation between these two competing nations to solve for this.
