Evening Edition: Karoline Leavitt Holds First White House Briefing
White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt delivered her first press briefing of the new administration in which she defended the Trump administration’s decision to issue a freeze on federal grants and loans. Leavitt, at the age of twenty seven, was poised and warned that foreign nationals attempting to enter the U.S. illegally are not welcome under Trump. Various other subjects were discussed including a new plan to let members of ‘alternate media’ join the briefings.
