President Trump’s Historic First Week

President Trump spent his first week in office signing dozens of executive orders on border policy, energy regulations, and immigration in an effort to jumpstart his agenda. The Senate spent a part of their weekend confirming more cabinet nominees, confirming Secretary Pete Hegseth for the Department of Defense, and Secretary Kristi Noem for the Department of Homeland Security. Senator Katie Britt (R-AL) joins the Rundown to discuss the importance of affirming President Trump’s cabinet picks, how his executive orders will impact the American people, and what else needs to get done as the President navigates his busy schedule.

School districts nationwide have adopted an “out-of-sight, out-of-mind” policy regarding smartphones. However, not all states (and students) are on board. In New York, Governor Kathy Hochul has proposed a “bell-to-bell” ban for K-12 students. In neighboring New Jersey, the Ramsey School District has adopted a similar policy. FOX News Correspondent CB Cotton joins to share why the ban may be beneficial and why school districts are making the switch.
