Comedian Danny Polishchuk joins Fox Across America With Jimmy Failla to shed light on how President Trump’s approach to domestic oil production is already having an impact on his home country of Canada.
“Well, he’s causing havoc in Canada. Because Canada has this thing, so not a lot of people, even in Canada know this. But you can’t even really trade freely among provinces. Like they have this whole thing set up where there’s a lot of protectionism within the provinces. So, for example, in Ontario, you can’t get British Columbia wine. And because they want to British Columbia has like amazing wine and they want to, like, protect everybody. So now they’re like, okay, we’ve got to scrap this whole thing immediately. And they’re figuring out all this stuff where because the pipelines, a lot of it had to do with like, we don’t want to run a pipeline through like a native reserve, right? That kind of thing. And then now, like the native leaders was like, you know what? Maybe that’s not the worst idea, kind of thing. And so they’re having to rejigger everything in the country right now.”
