The President’s Border Blitz Begins
President Trump’s Border Czar Tom Homan has promised swift action on deporting violent criminal migrants. Many critics of the plan are saying that the logistics of carrying out the deportations will be costly and time-consuming, while backers of the plan say that the cost to keep illegal migrants here will outweigh deportations. The President has also ordered U.S. troops to the Southern Border to secure crossings and combat Mexican drug cartels. Florida Congressman Carlos Gimenez (R) joins the Rundown to discuss how Congress can work to help the Trump administration’s deportation plan, why he believes the military must combat drug cartels, and how the deportation process will work.
