Make America GO TO WORK, Again!

President Trump signs an executive order requiring federal employees to…actually go to work.

If the American taxpayer is paying your salary, you should probably show up to the office! What a concept! 

Well, President Trump is making that concept a reality with an executive order that declares remote work will no longer be tolerated for federal employees, except in certain circumstances deemed necessary. 

While about half of this workforce does report in person, or on a hybrid basis, roughly 228,000 of these employees have been working entirely remotely and that road ends here. 

Why should the taxpayers foot the bill for both workers AND empty work spaces for workers who would rather work from home?!

COVID was a giant excuse to kick off this trend, but even that lame excuse has timed out. 

Word on the street is many federal employees may rethink their employment or positions thanks to this executive order and perhaps, that’s for the best. 

Part of cutting government waste is trimming off the government employees who don’t have the will to show up.
