Gary Sinise, Emmy-winning actor, director, Veteran’s Advocate & founder of the Gary Sinise Foundation, spoke to Brian Kilmeade about the life and legacy of his son Mac Sinise. Gary shared how his son McCanna “Mac” Sinise passed away on January 5th of 2024, after a long battle against Chordoma cancer. After Mac’s death, Sinise said as he was going through his sons files he found several pieces of music he didn’t know he had written and used the music and released them on Resurrection and Revival Part Two.

Sinese also spoke about the devastating wildfires in California. Sinise feels it is pretty disgraceful the state was not prepared for the fires. Sinise says what is frustrating is that California has the highest taxes and gas prices in the country and then you find out there is no water in the hydrants or in the reservoirs while state spends money on other things.

When asked about President Trump appointing Sylvester Stallone, Mel Gibson and Jon Voight as special Ambassadors to Hollywood, Sinise hopes they can make positive changes needed in the industry because of all the regulations and taxes that has driven productions out of California to other states and countries. Sinise says if they are successful, it will bring a lot of jobs back to California.
