Montana Republican Senator Steve Daines joins Fox Across America With Jimmy Failla to shed light on the impact President-elect Trump is already having on the world stage following the news that Israel and Hamas have agreed to a cease-fire deal which also ensures the release of hostages.
“You know, I’m having flashbacks to 1979 and ’80 and then into ’81 when President Reagan was elected. And remember the Iranian hostage crisis and so forth. When the Iranians heard Ronald Reagan’s footsteps, the hostages got released. Biden is out there taking credit for this deal. But here’s the truth. The Hamas organization is reacting to the fact that there’s a new sheriff in town in a few days on January 20th. And this truly is about peace through strength. And I give credit I give credit to Netanyahu and the IDF for the maximum pressure campaign they’ve put on Gaza. They’ve not bent the knee to the woke Europeans and others in the ICC who want to arrest Netanyahu. They’ve stayed with maximum pressure campaign and now there’s a president ready to be inaugurated on January 20th that believes and has moral clarity that Israel should be allowed to do what it needs to do to protect herself. And this is why Hamas suddenly is starting to offer some olive branches.”
Jimmy and Senator Daines also talk about how Trump’s impending return to the White House is set to mark a cultural turning point for our country. To hear what else they discussed, listen to the podcast!
