Florida Republican Congresswoman Kat Cammack joins Fox Across America With Jimmy Failla to share some of her takeaways from Secretary of Defense nominee Pete Hegseth’s Senate confirmation hearing on Tuesday.

“I actually was in my office and in between meetings, I had the TV on, but I had it on mute, and I sat there thinking, who in the hell needs daytime soap opera television when you have this? Because it was. It was the  gnashing of teeth and the throwing of hands and the pounding on the table. I’m like, this is where I totally understand when they say Washington, D.C. is ugly, Hollywood, it is the kids that were thespians and then also partook in the debate team, and made their way to Washington. Now, I can say that because I was part of the drama club and on the debate team and look at where it left me. So I’m speaking firsthand. These folks think that in order to get a click or a share or a sound bite, they’ve got to be absolutely ridiculous. And that is what we saw today. It wasn’t congressional. It was not reflective of the office that they hold. And I thought Pete Hegseth, he held up well. He demonstrated poise and grace under pressure. So, you know, hats off to him. I think it’ll all work out just fine in the end.”

Jimmy and Rep. Cammack also talk about California Governor Gavin Newsom’s response to the wildfires in Los Angeles County. Listen to the podcast to hear what else they discussed!
