Evening Edition: Will The United States Need To Intervene In Syria?

The new rebel coalition that wrested control over Syria from longtime despot ruler Bashar al-Assad is being lead by a former Al Qaeda fighter with a U.S. bounty on his head. Syrian militant Abu Mohammad al-Julani has said that he and his group, Hayat Tahrir al-Sham group, or HTS, will be no threat to the West but experts say the country could easily devolve into another terror state. President-elect Trump recently said that the situation in Syria ‘is not our fight’ and to ‘not get involved.’

FOX’s Eben Brown speaks with Rebekah Koffler, strategic military intelligence analyst and author of ‘Putin’s Playbook’, who says Trump’s initial approach is right but may need to be adjusted.
