Bald Eagle Now OFFICIALLY The National Bird

Joe Biden has done a lot of damage these last 4 years, but he did ONE thing right when it comes to one of our nation’s proudest symbols.

I’m Tomi Lahren, find out next.

Moments of bipartisanship are rare in DC these days and so are things done by Joe Biden that aren’t complete disasters.

So in the holiday spirit, here is something that satisfies both of those rarities.

On Christmas Eve, President Biden signed a bill officially designating the bald eagle as our national bird.

The bill itself passed Congress unanimously, which is good news.

I, for one, thought the bald eagle was already our national bird since it has been on our Great Seal since 1782, carries its own holiday, is designated the national emblem, and has its own protection act, but apparently it has never technically been deemed with the title.

But now, the bald eagle has made its official debut as our national bird with this amendment to Title 36 of the United States Code.

I’m glad that even though we have a divided Congress and an absentee president in the White House, this important and historic move was etched into our proud history.
