Co-host of “The Big Money Show” on Fox Business Brian Brenberg joins Fox Across America With Jimmy Failla to give his take on some of the wasteful spending programs that Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy could target as they co-lead President-elect Trump’s Department of Government Efficiency.
“I don’t think the 2 trillion number is the big thing that America is looking at. What they want to see are examples of really wasteful stuff, you know, like teaching chimpanzees to jump on a trampoline in Ghana or whatever. They want, like whatever those programs are, they want those things gone and they want to see it on paper. Because truthfully, you can’t actually help make up the difference by doing the regulatory cuts, which do have a monetary impact. And you can kind of do this with the stroke of a pen and it’s not money going out the door. It’s just people’s lives getting easier. And to me that like, that’s the thing that where you make up the delta on the big number, but you got to give them the concrete stuff. You know, the shrimp on treadmills or whatever.”
