Co-Anchor of “America’s Newsroom” Bill Hemmer joins Fox Across America With Jimmy Failla to share his thoughts on the goals that Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy have laid out for President-elect Trump’s Department of Government Efficiency.
“And my feeling today is we were just doing predictions for social media here that are going to come out. I don’t know. I made up some good ones. I said I made up. But, you know, Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy are going to do this job for a year and a half. And I don’t know if they’re going to be able to meet the measure by then. You know, they want to retire by the 250th anniversary of the United States, which I think is amazing and awesome. But I think they will hand it off to someone else and that department will not disappear. Listen, I wish him all the best. You know, I hope they can. I hope they can find a lot of fat that’s not necessary. But I think it’s going to be more difficult than we know.”
Jimmy and Bill also talk about what kind of resistance to Trump’s agenda we could see from the Democratic Party. Listen to the podcast to hear what else they discussed!
