Congressman Michael Waltz, incoming National Security Advisor to President-elect Trump, spoke to Brian Kilmeade about the cooperation between the incoming Trump administration and the Biden administration. Waltz says, with the initial exception of not knowing the extent on the lifting of restrictions on Ukraine’s use of ATACMS missiles, both teams have been keeping each other informed. Waltz added, while they don’t agree on everything, we have only one president at a time and it is important for our adversaries to know we are united as one America. Waltz feels the Russian Ukraine war needs to be contained and not let it go global, adding “as long as it takes” is not a strategy. On the Israel-Hezbollah ceasefire, Waltz points to Netanyahu taking the gloves off against Hamas and striking Iran combined with what he says they are calling “The Trump effect” after he was elected that has led to this ceasefire.
