Homan had this to say on the Trump administration’s first steps to secure the border and the U.S.

“There’s we got three things going on. The parallel priorities here. First of all, we got to secure the border. We got to stop the bleeding. We can’t keep bailing water on the boat. We got to fix the hole. Then we can build a wall. So we’re going to take steps to secure that border right away by re-implementing Trump’s policies that were very effective and gave us a more secure border in my lifetime. At the same time, we’ve got to start a deportation operation in this country. The president’s been very clear. I’ve been very clear. We’re going to concentrate the priorities are going to be public safety threats and national security threats. Third, we got over 300,000 missing children, 300,000 children that were smuggling this country, trafficked into this country and released to their sponsors.”
