Gowdy had this to say on where the Democrats go from here:

“Well, you got a couple of options when you lose. You can claim that you were cheated or you can do an autopsy. And it is incredibly painful to do an autopsy. What did I get wrong? But you go back and listen to Oprah Winfrey in this this excessively hyperbolic, which may be redundant, but you know what I mean. There’s hyperbolic rhetoric about how this may be the last election. Look for Republicans to survive Barack Obama, Democrats who survived Ronald Reagan. I mean, those two guys, the other side thought the world was going to end then, too. They they kind of outdid themselves.”
