Fox News Political Analyst Gianno Caldwell joins Fox Across America With Jimmy Failla to shed light on how President-elect Trump was able to successfully get people on board with his movement who traditionally have never identified with the Republican Party.
“They’ve not been credible for a very, very long time. And the thing about it is people kind of sort of went along with some of it because it was still popular in Hollywood. The elites were about it. The movie stars, the rap artists. They made it seem cool. But now the Republican Party is the party of cool. We got the outlaws, the people who everyone loves for them being outlaws. You got the rappers Kodak Black, Waka Flocka Flame and all these other folks who have come out and say they support Donald Trump. 50 Cent posted a picture of Donald Trump and himself on Instagram on the day of the election. He said. I’m walking out with the winner. You know, it’s just it’s intriguing and fascinating. Books obviously will be written. Those of us who’ve been covering this stuff for a long time, there will be books written about us and what the Donald Trump era and phenomenon was about in ten years, because this is absolutely the most fascinating election, not just of our lifetime, but of our entire country.”
Jimmy and Gianno also share their thoughts on the early stages of the Trump team’s transition efforts. Listen to the podcast to hear what else they discussed!
