Senior editor for Reason Magazine Robby Soave joins Fox Across America With Jimmy Failla to explain why he believes liberal pundits on networks like CNN, MSNBC and ABC are secretly rooting for former President Trump to beat Vice President Harris in next week’s election.
“I made the Joker-Batman analogy a million times, I think on your show even. But they need him the way Joker needs Batman. They want him back. Ignore what they say about him. They’re not actually afraid of the Dark Knight of fascism. Mostly because we already live for under four years of Trump. And it was basically standard Republican governance, sometimes to its fault. I wanted nonstandard Republican governance on a couple of issues, but you mostly got the same thing because the way he speaks and communicates, let’s be honest, is outside the bounds of normal political figures. But the way he ran the country was not so outside the bounds. And that’s why this scare everyone thing is just not working because we remembered how things were. And yet the media had a frenzy because he does say out there stuff. But he governed, you know, it was, what would have been fundamentally different if Mitt Romney or John McCain was president? Some things, but not all that much, I think.”
