Former State Department Spokesperson under former President Trump, Morgan Ortagus joins Fox Across America With Jimmy Failla to talk about the Harris campaign and why voters may have soured on her messaging.
“Well, I think he got Julius Caesar’d by his own party. He’s a little bit bitter. And don’t forget that his wife did not want Kamala Harris to be on the ticket. I mean, that was that was a poison pill that the wife had to swallow in order to go along with it. And, you know, I, I sort of certainly get it. Primaries are rough. You know, the big problem in my estimation, with the Harris camp is that she didn’t earn it. And what I mean by that, if you go let’s go back to 2008 when Hillary was Clinton was supposed to be, you know, coronated in the Democratic primary there. You got to give Barack Obama credit. He fought tooth and nail. I mean, that was a tough slog of a primary. And he earned that nomination. I mean, he beat the Clinton dynasty to get that nomination. And I think, you know, listen, this is why democracy works, right? This is why primaries matter. This is why she probably should have had a contested convention and forced herself to have to come out the other side as the victor. It doesn’t work. Coronations do not work in this country. It didn’t work with Jeb Bush. It didn’t work with Hillary Clinton. I don’t think it’s going to work with Kamala Harris.”

Morgan and Jimmy also react to former President Bill Clinton’s comments on illegal immigration and her hand in negotiating the Abraham Accords during the Trump administration.
