Evening Edition: FEMA Assessing Damage Brought By Hurricane Milton

Residents of Florida reeling once again after Hurricane Milton made landfall as a dangerous category 3 storm. Milton hitting just days after Hurricane Helene causing life threatening conditions, at least five deaths have been reported, and knocking out power to over million and a half homes and businesses. FEMA is currently on the ground in Florida assessing the situation and working with local officials and private groups ready to help those in need.

FOX’s Gurnal Scott speaks with Marty Bahamonde, Director, Disaster Operations, Office of External Affairs at Federal Emergency Management Agency, who gives us the latest from Florida and says FEMA is confident they have the funds to deal with the back to back hurricanes and other natural disasters that could possibly happen in the near future.
