Texas Republican Congressman Wesley Hunt joins Fox Across America With Jimmy Failla to shed light on the Biden administration’s distorted priorities in relation to how much money is being sent overseas compared with the lack of funds the Federal Emergency Management Agency has available for hurricane victims.
“We have $35 trillion in debt. We have got to stop paying for everything. We’ve got to stop paying for the world. We have our own issues in this country. Like we just got hit with a storm here in Houston. We saw it happen in North Carolina. There’s a storm barreling toward Florida. And I can guarantee you that if Florida were named Ukraine, we’d be sending all kinds of money over there. And yet these people are suffering and Florida is going to get hit hard again, too. And yet we don’t have any FEMA money. You are spot on. We can’t stop spending money unless it is on this country. I’m not an isolationist. I’m not saying that we can’t help our allies. What I am saying is, is $35 trillion in debt, sending 200, 300, $400 billion to other countries is no longer going to cut it.”
Jimmy and Rep. Hunt also talk about the tightening poll numbers between former President Trump and Vice President Harris. To hear what else they discussed, listen to the podcast!
