RNC Chairman Michael Whatley joined Brian Kilmeade to discuss the ongoing relief efforts in North Carolina after the impact of Hurricane Helene. Whatley, who is from Watauga County, NC, says the state has never seen devastation like this. Whatley feels that Kamala Harris has fumbled not going to North Carolina and it is another demonstration she is not ready for primetime. Whatley added, “I think it’s unfortunately a bigger condemnation on President Biden that he is not in charge right now. You know, for him to say that he was in control, that he was in command of these operations while he was sitting at the beach, it’s frankly appalling that this is the representation that we’re seeing from this administration.”
Whatley addressed how the RNC is handling the controversary surrounding North Carolina Lieutenant Governor Mark Robinson. Whatley says Mark Robinson is doing is exactly what Mark Robinson should be doing, being on the ground in western North Carolina and helping to coordinate relief supplies. Whatley believes Robinson is acting like the Lieutenant Governor of North Carolina and I think that that’s where his focus should be. When asked about Donald Trump not feeling safe on the campaign trail, Whatley finds it completely unacceptable that the Biden\Harris administration have been unable to keep Donald Trump safe. Whatley went on to call out the Biden\Harris administration for not denouncing Iran who has been saber rattling going after Trump, something he sees as an act of war.
Plus, Whatley on how the RNC focus is on Arizona, Nevada, Georgia, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Michigan, and why they feel good about winning those states.
