Fake Pandas!

A Chinese zoo admits to faking its panda bear exhibit.

Shanwei Zoo in China is facing backlash from zoo goers over its panda exhibit. 

Turns out the so-called panda bears showcased are actually just painted dogs!

According to local media, the ruse was believable until a visitor noticed one of the supposed pandas barking, panting and acting like a dog!

One look at the photos and it’s pretty dang obvious those pandas aren’t pandas!

At first the zoo tried to pass it off by claiming the pandas were actually hybrid “panda dogs” but later had to come clean and admit the obvious!

Turns out the fake pandas were actually Chow Chow dogs painted to look like pandas, complete with black and white fur and circles around their eyes.

Visitors rightfully demanded their money back. 

Lesson learned, if it looks like a dog and barks like a dog, it’s probably not a panda!
