Co-founder of BASEDPolitics Hannah Cox joins Fox Across America With Jimmy Failla to share her thoughts on how divisive rhetoric on both sides of the political aisle is contributing to the lack of bipartisanship in Washington D.C. right now.
“And I mean, actually, I’ll be fair here too, and say with him calling Kamala a communist, I think it does just take it to a point where things don’t mean anything anymore. And we can’t actually call out real threats when they do present, which they do in societies and in political society and opportunities in political times as well. But I think that that is something that is desensitizing people to where when you do have something that comes up, they’re not going to be on guard, they’re not going to take it seriously, they’re not going to listen. And when you are saying this person’s Hitler, this person’s a communist, it makes it like, well, then you can’t work with them. You can’t have a conversation on policy. You can’t meet in the middle. You can’t have any kind of thing that you work with them on whatsoever because that person’s Hitler. So how can you compromise and have any kind of bipartisanship because you’re working with Hitler or you’re working with a communist. You know, like that’s really bad.”
Jimmy and Hannah also discuss the growing problems with the two-party system in this country. Listen to the podcast to hear what else they talked about!
