Former Pennsylvania Democratic Congressman Patrick Murphy joins Fox Across America With Jimmy Failla to shed light on how Vice President Kamala Harris’ presidential campaign is attempting to reach voters in the more rural parts of the Keystone State.
“In the Pentagon when I was helping run the Army, we used to say, you know, amateurs talk strategy, experts talk logistics okay. These are logistics in Pennsylvania. Trump wins in 2016 by 40,000 votes. Biden comes back. Wins by 80,000 votes. That’s a one point difference. And it’s going to be a toss-up. I was in Pittsburgh yesterday at what’s called Vetcon, a veterans conference, right. We had governor Josh Shapiro, a rock star. You had Tim Walz in Lancaster County, back in Pittsburgh yesterday. Vetcon is still going on. The governor did five events yesterday. Tim Walz did four events. Vice President. Harris is there today. And it’s not just about these events. It’s also about, they just did 16 new field offices, the Harris campaign, in places like Ephrata, Pennsylvania. Everybody is in Lebanon County. Lebanon County is red territory. I worked at the Hershey factory and in Dauphin County, which is Hershey. My parents lived in Lebanon County for 20 years. That is red is red could be. I am telling you, they’re going to win this thing. They have the boots on the ground. It. They just need to win the margins. I mean, they’re going to lose Lebanon County. Because Pennsylvania is, you know, yes, it’s a big state, but it is Philadelphia, Pittsburgh and the state of Alabama. Yeah. So roll tide, brother.”
Jimmy and Patrick also talk about whether Harris’ previous support of a ban on fracking will hurt her chances of winning Pennsylvania. To hear what else they discussed, listen to the podcast!
