Dallas PD Officer Gunned Down and Murdered

A Dallas police officer was gunned down and killed in a targeted attack.

The war on cops rages on and it must end.

I’m Tomi Lahren, more next.

Ahead of Labor Day weekend, Dallas police department officer Darron Burks was shot and killed in the line of duty.

The details of his death are even more maddening. According to Dallas police chief Eddie Garcia, Burks and two other officers were targeted simply for being officers.

The suspect, Corey Cobb-Bey allegedly struck up a conversation with Officer Burks, recorded it on his cell phone and then pulled out a handgun and opened fire on Burks while he was seated in his patrol car.

Back-up officers were also reportedly shot by the suspect before he fled and was eventually killed after a high speed chase.

This is sickening and brings back the horrible memories of the Dallas Massacre in 2016 when 5 officers lost their lives after being ambushed.

With all the election cycle news, it’s easy to let tragic and heartbreaking headlines like this one slip through the cracks but we can’t allow that to happen.

The War on Cops is real and it must end.
