In presidential politics, only one number matters. 270 votes are needed in order for a candidate to become president, and although 200 million Americans will vote in the 2024 Presidential Election, the campaigns are focusing on winning over voters in a select number of battleground states. FOX News Radio Political Analyst Josh Kraushaar examines the 2024 electoral map and discusses the pathways for former President Trump and Vice President Harris to win the presidency.

 

For decades, Democrats could rely on “Blue Wall” states in the upper Midwest to swing their way in presidential elections. However, all that changed in 2016 when Donald Trump won Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin, shaping his path to victory in the presidential election.
