Evening Edition: Chicago Businesses Board Up And Brace For DNC Protesters
Chicago business owners on edge as thousands of protesters are set to hit the streets surrounding the United Center as the Democratic National Convention officially begins. Many businesses have taken things into their own hands deciding to board up shops or just close down for the week in an abundance of caution. While there seems to be all types of groups protesting various subjects at the convention, there seems to be a large majority of pro-Palestinian and anti-Israel groups.
FOX’s Eben Brown speaks with FOX’s Steve Harrigan, Atlanta-based correspondent for Fox News Channel (FNC), about the protests he has seen on day one and what officials are concerned about as the days turn into evenings.
