After COVID-19 led students across the country to remote learning, parents were given new insight into what, and how, kids were being taught in the classroom. And as months went by when lesson plans seemed questionable and kids started falling behind, many parents began advocating for programs to ensure their children were getting the education they deserved. Since then, the school choice movement has taken off — with 12 states passing universal school choice laws.
