Boxer with XY Chromosomes Allowed to Fight Female Competitors

An Olympic competitor with elevated testosterone and XY chromosomes defeated a female boxer in under a minute.

How is this fair?

I’m Tomi Lahren, more next.

The Paris Olympics have been controversial for many reasons and now this.

An Algerian boxer who failed gender eligibility tests at the world championships and has tested positive for XY (male) chromosomes was allowed to compete at this year’s Olympics.

In under a minute, Algerian boxer Imani Khalif defeated the female competitor, leaving her in tears and vocally decrying the injustice.

Though the Algerian boxer is not a trans woman, the male chromosomes are no doubt an advantage. The International Boxing Association recognized that but for some reason the International Olympic Committee does not.

This is just wrong on so many levels, not to mention dangerous.

There is no justification for allowing a competitor with a biological advantage to fight a female competitor. None.

This isn’t just about fairness, it’s about safety.

The Olympics are such a disappointment this year. I’ll pass!
