U.S. Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheatle resigned Tuesday in the wake of mounting pressure following the assassination attempt on former President Trump in Butler, Pennsylvania. The resignation comes just a day after Cheatle took a bipartisan beating bipartisan during testimony before the House Oversight Committee.
