Hulk Hogan joined Brian Kilmeade in Milwaukee and spoke about how he felt the crowd at the RNC had the same type of vibe that reminded him of his wrestling days. Hogan shared how he was a little nervous because they wanted him to work off a teleprompter, something he never did as a wrestler. Hogan said his speech came from the heart and wound up not using the teleprompter. Hogan shared that after he came off the stage, he was so emotional and when he ran into Eric Trump, whom he hadn’t seen since he was six years old, he broke down and cried like a baby.
When asked about his initial reaction to seeing the assassination attempt on Donald Trump, Hogan says he had all these questions: Who dropped the ball? Why did this happen? Hogan added, he used to be afraid to wear a Trump shirt or put a Trump poster in his yard but after Trump was shot, those days are over. Hogan concedes that while Trump has a personality some don’t love, he believes Trump loves America and is a quality person. Hogan also discussed his long friendship with Donald Trump, going back to when Trump Plaza hosted Wrestlemania 4 & 5 and how Trump helped him when he was getting Hulkamania rolling.
