McCarthy had this to say on the dismissal of the Trump Florida documents case:
“I would say it’s really unseemly. Guy. They’re having a snit, really. As Judge Cannon explains in her opinion, you know, they should have proposed alternatives to salvage the case, but they decided that in a very arrogant way, what they were basically going to do is dare the judge to rule against them and not propose any curative measures, leaving her with no alternative but to dismiss the case because they wouldn’t they wouldn’t propose anything.”
