Chicago Mayor to REMOVE Statue of George Washington

Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson plans to REMOVE the statue of George Washington in the hallway outside his office at City Hall.

The Left has dedicated great time and effort to remove statues and historical symbols from their various positions across the US, and now this. 

Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson’s office announced the statue of George Washington that currently sits in the hallway outside his office at City Hall, will be removed. 

His office maintains this removal is not due to our first president being a slave owner or for any typical WOKE reason, but rather just to freshen up and update the space.

They can say whatever they want, but I find that hard to believe. They have no plans to move it anywhere else and no current plans of what to replace it with, though the Mayor’s communications director did say other historical figures should be considered to replace it and all of those figures happen to be African American. 

Nothing wrong with that but why not erect them in addition to rather than instead of?….

Why beat around the bush? Just come right out and say the REAL reason you’re removing the statue of our first president! 

I don’t think it’s too hard to connect the dots here…
