Amy Walter: Kamala Harris Has the “Same Liabilities” That Biden Has

Amy Walter, publisher and Editor In Chief of the Cook Political Report, joined the Guy Benson Show today to discuss her recent piece showing multiple swing states moving towards Trump. Walter and Benson also discuss the potential of Biden dropping out of the race, and Walter shares her personal prediction on whether or not Biden will hang in the race. Walter had this to say on where the presidential race would be following Biden’s potential withdraw:

“Well, it is Wild West in the sense we’ve never seen anything like this in modern history, so we don’t really know where it goes. But I think where the race would start is basically where the race was before the debate. In other words, she would come in with the same liabilities as Biden had, namely, you know, who do you think would be stronger on immigration and the economy? She’s as she’s not more unpopular than Biden, but is as unpopular. So it’s not like she she comes in with a deep well of goodwill.”
